A reminder from a friend hits different
A reminder from a friend is one of the best ways to get someone to vote. In a 2024 randomized trial, voter turnout went up both for the people who sent postcards and for the friends who got them.
Your postcard lands in their mailbox with your face on it, so they know it's really from you, not another piece of junk mail.

We mail it
We print and mail real postcards by Oct 15, so they arrive before Election Day. You get one too, as your own reminder to vote.
The fine print
- Totally free. Our donors cover printing and postage. We'll never ask you for money.
- Your friends' info stays private. We only use it to mail your cards.
- No address book needed. Type a name and we find the address in public voter registration records.
- Real people check every card. We review every photo before anything is printed.

Is this legit?
Yes. P.S. Vote is a nonprofit project of Vote Rev Action Fund. You make a postcard with your photo, pick friends who could use a reminder, and we print and mail a real card to each of them. That's it.
Does it cost anything?
No. Printing and postage are free, courtesy of our donors. We will never ask you for money.
What happens to my friends' info?
You just type a friend's name. We find their mailing address using public voter registration records, so you don't need to know it. We use it only to mail your postcard. We never sell it, share it for anything else, or use it for commercial purposes.
What if my photo isn't great?
Any casual selfie works. Friends just want to see it's really you. A photo that shows your face in good light is best. A real person reviews every photo before printing, and we won't send cards with photos or names that are sexual, obscene, or show illegal activity.
When will the postcards arrive?
We mail cards by Oct 15 so they arrive before Election Day, Tuesday, November 3. That's right when people are deciding how and when to vote.
Do I get a postcard too?
Yes! Everyone who sends postcards also gets one of their own.
What do you use my photo and info for?
Your photo is printed on the postcards you send, and shared only as needed with our printing and mailing vendors. We use your information to send the postcards, run this program, and as required by law. It is not sold or used for commercial purposes. See our privacy policy for details.
